Fulton Koons

Hair Expert

Fulton got his start as a barber after graduation from Lehigh Barber College in 1966. After college, he joined the Marine Corps for three years. Fulton went back to school to study cosmetology and obtained his cosmetology teachers license after his time in the Marine Corps. He began working for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a teacher just after becoming a Barber teacher and shortly after moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to supervise and teach at Joseph Donahue School of Barbering. Fulton went on to open his own school, The Pennsylvania Academy of Hair Design, in Norristown where he focused on teaching barbering and cosmetology. Fulton was trained in hair replacement at Pivot Point Academy of Northwestern University in Chicago. He attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Toronto Canada during 2006, visits New York every year to learn about the latest trends, and specializes in hair replacement for both men and women. Fulton's 45+ years of experience allow him to provide each client with a look they are proud of whether it's a classic or up-and-coming style!

Suzanne Koons

Hair Expert

Suzanne is a graduate of The Empire Beauty School in Reading, Pennsylvania. She acquired her cosmetology license in 1975 and went on to obtain her barbers license. Susie uses her 30+ years of experience to give clients the look that they desire.

Shelly Rotenberger

Hair Expert

Shelly began at Berks Vocational Technical School in Oley Pennsylvania in 1980, where she studied Cosmetology for 2 years. Upon graduation, she continued her education at Bryland School of Beauty in Reading, Pennsylvania. Shelly got her start at Hess's Department Store in The Trimmer Shop. During that time, she continued her education at Empire Beauty School and attained her Instructor's License in Cosmetology.

After working at Hess's for several years, she moved on to another area salon before she opened "Shelly's Hairstyling", in 1986. After a change in residence, she worked at several shops over the years. Shelly has experienced working in 7 total different area salons. Now, she is settled at her favorite- Fulton & Susie's. She loves the friendly, laid back, relaxing atmosphere where clients are regarded as friends, and are given undivided, individualized time and attention.

It is in this atmosphere, where Shelly excels at what she does best- her passion of creating hairstyles and color which allows clients to look their absolute best. Shelly does hair- and hair only! Among her favorites are Coloring, Highlighting, Perming, Cutting, Updos, and Styling. Shelly also participates in gaining further education by actively attending seminars, conventions and classes 2 to 3 times per year.
